28 Gauge. 28" barrel length. SN: 28-1839. 2.75" chamber length. Full Choke left. Modified right. Blued barrels and triggerguard with the balance of parts casehardened and set in a walnut straight wrist stock with splinter forend, both featuring bordered multipoint checkering. Double barrel side by side boxlock ejector shotgun mounting a matted barrel rib with brass bead front sight, and engraved embellishments to the frame. Item mounts a selector trigger and a tang mounted safety mechanism. Manufacturer marks include PARKER engraved to lower frame with barrel flats marked OVERLOAD/PARKER REPRODUCTION/PROVED. Winchester monogram proof struck into the barrel flats with the left barrel additionally marked MADE IN JAPAN. Upper left barrel displays the maker marking Parker Reproduction by WINCHESTER. The barrel lug displays size mark 00, indicating its frame size. Shotgun features an engraved skeleton butt with the wood checkered, and a gold oval plate to the toe. Item is engraved with spiral scroll over the frame enclosing pointers on the flanks, and rising game birds to the lower frame. Further features sunburst borders to the barrel fences and around the lug. The dollshead and breeches are further border engraved, and the muzzle end of the barrel rib shows a crisp Parker style border. Comes in a matching leather bound case with green velvet lining and PARKER REPRODUCTIONS tag to the lid. Included in the case are two 28 gauge snap caps, and a pair of brass keys for the case.
